Will Smith and Johnny Depp join Andrea Bocelli's 30th anniversary celebration with special performances.

Andrea Bocelli's 30th anniversary celebration at Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, Italy, has featured performances by notable celebrities, including Will Smith and Johnny Depp. The three-day event, titled Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration, commemorates the Italian tenor's three decades in the music industry and has included a range of special guest appearances.

On Wednesday, July 17, Smith, 55, delivered a spoken-word rendition of the classic 1940s show tune "You'll Never Walk Alone," accompanied by piano and blue lighting. Bocelli shared a video of Smith's performance on his Instagram Story, showcasing the actor in a grey suit as he read the lyrics aloud to the Italian audience.

Depp, 61, also performed on Wednesday night, playing guitar for "En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor" in honor of his late friend Jeff Beck. Depp, wearing sunglasses and a suit, sat on a stool beside Bocelli and accompanied him with an acoustic guitar.

The event has featured other notable performers, including Ed Sheeran, who performed "Perfect Symphony" with Bocelli, and will include appearances by Shania Twain, Russell Crowe, Laura Pausini, Nadine Sierra, Jon Batiste, and Brian May on its final day, Friday, July 19.

Ahead of the day two performances, Bocelli posted behind-the-scenes clips to his Instagram Story, including a video of Depp and Smith greeting each other and spending time with Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad on a yacht. Smith's son, Jaden Smith, also interacted with Depp and Bocelli's children, Matteo, Amos, and Virginia.

At the end of the night, multiple performers, including Sheeran, Depp, Smith, Crowe, and members of the Bocelli family, posed for a group photo. Bocelli expressed his gratitude for the event, stating, "I can only imagine celebrating my career and my life, its strength, and its wondrous beauty here at Teatro del Silenzio, surrounded by such wonderful artists and friends."

The performances are being filmed and produced by Mercury Studios, Maverick, Almud, Impact Productions, and CitySound & Events. A film directed by Sam Wrench is set to release this fall in theaters by Fathom. “You can’t get much more cinematic than Andrea Bocelli against the Tuscan landscape,” Wrench said in a press release. “I’m incredibly excited to bring this once in a lifetime concert to cinemas around the world with his unique voice, this world class team and enviable list of special guests.”

Bocelli will release his Duets album on October 25, featuring collaborations with Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, and more, as well as new material with Twain, Chris Stapleton, Gwen Stefani, Marc Anthony, and others.
