No riverine flood situation: FFC

There is no riverine flood condition as all the major rivers of the Indus River System

ISLAMABAD:

The Federal Flood Commission (FFC) has said that low to medium flows are expected in low nullahs of river Chenab during the next 24 hours.

According to the daily FFC report on Thursday, currently, there is no riverine flood condition as all the major rivers of the Indus River System Indus, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej were flowing normally.

The combined live storage of the country's major reservoirs (Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma) stood at 8.247 Million Acre Feet (MAF) which is 61.91 per cent of the total storage.
