Woman slaughtersthree sons

A woman allegedly slaughtered her three children in Mohallah Musa Zai Colony, within the limits of Nawan Shehar City police station, on Thursday.

According to the police, Hajra Bibi, wife of Wajid, slit the throats of her five-year-old son Abdul Hadi, three-year-old son Abdul Hameed, and eight-month-old son Abdul Rafi.

They added that the incident occurred at her parents’ house.

Eight-month-old child Abdul Rafi died on the spot. The two other children, who were critically injured children, were transferred to Ayub Teaching Hospital.

It is alleged that she used a knife to inflict severe injuries on her children. The police have taken the victim into custody.

Police said that Hajra Bibi tried to commit suicide and suffered minor injuries.

It is believed that she has psychiatric issues.

Nawan Shehar police are investigating the incident and have arrested Hajra Bibi, to determine the circumstances and motives behind this horrific act.

Following the incident, the police launched a probe and said they were looking into the incident from various angles and were not able to comment on it with surety.

Apparently, they said the suspect is suffering from psycharict issues. However, new revelations can change the course of the case altogather.
