PHA to build two amusement parks

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will build amusement parks at two popular sites in the city.

The entertainment facilities will be set up the Greater Iqbal Park and Racecourse Park.

According to PHA Director General Muhammad Tahir Wattoo, the new amusement parks would be joint ventures of the department and the private sector, bringing various forms of indoor and outdoor entertainment for families, especially children.

The amusement parks will include rides, shows and themed areas, and are expected to attract millions of visitors annually, boosting the PHA’s revenue, the DG stated on Thursday.
