5 held over WASA office attack

At least five people were arrested after the registration of a case against 22 persons, including seven women, for attacking a WASA office and pelting it with stones.

Gulberg WASA Assistant Director Babar Latif told the area police that he was present in his office in Baghdadi Park when Mubashir Mehmood, Tariq, Fatima Bibi, seven other women and 12 men entered it and attacked the staff while abusing them. They also pelted the office with bricks and stones.
