David and Victoria Beckham have responded to their 2024 Emmy Awards nominations.

The 49-year-old former footballer and the 50-year-old fashion designer received five nominations for their 2023 Netflix documentary "BECKHAM."

The series provided a unique insight into David's career and an intimate look at the beginning of their romance and marriage.

The four-part series was nominated for Best Documentary or Nonfiction Series at the 2024 Emmy Awards, competing with "Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV," "STAX: Soulsville U.S.A.," "Telemarketers," and "The Jinx - Part Two."

Additionally, it received nominations for Outstanding Cinematography For A Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Directing For A Documentary/Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Picture Editing, and Outstanding Music Composition.

In reaction David told HELLO!, “It's a real honor for me and the whole creative team for BECKHAM to be recognized by the TV Academy.”

“Making this series was such a personal journey, a love letter to football and my family. It has been overwhelming for me and Victoria that we have had such a warm and positive response to the series.”

“I'm so grateful to the incredible team led by Fisher Stevens and also to all those people from my life and career who took part and who have played such an important role in my story.”

This follows the Beckham family's cheerful day at sea earlier this week during their holiday in Sardinia.

David brought his family together on a mega yacht in Sardinia to celebrate daughter Harper's 13th birthday, enjoying the warm weather and participating in water sports.
