Whoopi Goldberg reveals she spread her mom's ashes on Disneyland ride by fake sneezing

Whoopi Goldberg recently shared a unique and somewhat unconventional way she honored her late mother, Emma Harris, at Disneyland. 

During a July 10 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Goldberg, 68, revealed that after her mother's passing in 2010, she fulfilled her wish to be at the theme park by discreetly scattering her ashes. 

Recounting the incident, Goldberg humorously prefaced, "No one should do this," before describing how she used a fake sneeze to spread the ashes surreptitiously.

"My mother loved Disneyland, and so we took her to Disneyland," Goldberg explained to Meyers, recalling her childhood memories of the theme park and her mother's fondness for the "It's a Small World" ride. 

She admitted to discreetly scattering her mother's ashes near the "flowers where it says Disneyland," using the sneeze as a cover-up.

Despite her efforts, Goldberg admitted that her actions didn't go unnoticed. "I told them I did it," she shared with Meyers, emphasizing her concern about the potential risks involved. Acknowledging the safety concerns, Goldberg highlighted that Disneyland has strict policies against scattering ashes due to safety reasons.

During a previous episode of The View, Goldberg reminisced about finally fulfilling her mother's dream of visiting Disneyland, an experience her mother had always promised but could not afford during Goldberg's childhood.
