In a lighthearted segment on the Today show, actor Glen Powell engaged in the morning weather forecast alongside co-host Dylan Dreyer, showcasing his versatility beyond his new movie role.

Powell, known for his upcoming portrayal as storm chaser Tyler Owens in the film "Twisters," joined Dreyer on Wednesday, July 17 in New York City. Prompted by Dreyer's playful query about his meteorological prowess acquired during filming, Powell humorously responded, "I mean, we'll see. You'll put my knowledge to the test here, I guess."

As they navigated the national weather radar, Powell confidently commented on the weather patterns, noting rain and impending cold fronts with a touch of theatrical flair. "If there are [twisters], I know what to do, guys. I did a whole movie about this!" he quipped.

 

The actor's appearance also included a heartwarming moment with his parents, Cyndy Powell and Glen Powell Sr., who made a surprise cameo holding supportive signs. Their presence added a personal touch to the segment, reflecting Powell's deep-rooted family support throughout his career.
