ECP to discuss PTI's reserved seats issue today

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will convene an important session on Thursday to deliberate on various aspects of implementing the Supreme Court's decision regarding specific seats allocated to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the National and Provincial Assemblies.

Scheduled to commence at 3 pm according to reports, the meeting aims to assess the legal points pertaining to granting PTI-specific seats in light of the law.

Chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja, the ECP's session will focus on the implementation of the judicial orders concerning reserved seats. The meeting will include thorough discussions on different facets of legal implications regarding the allocation of reserved seats to PTI.

ECP secretary, along with heads of elections and legal wings, will provide briefings and updates on the Supreme Court's decision during the session.
