Streamer Destiny banned following 'hate speech' on Trump shooting
Steven ‘Destiny’ Bonnel has been banned from the streaming platform Kick for comments made about the shooting at a Donald Trump rally.
On July 16, Kick suspended Destiny after he made inflammatory remarks about Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old firefighter shot in the ear during the rally. Destiny stated he would mock any conservative fans killed at an event, sparking outrage.
Kick issued a temporary ban for "hate speech," allowing Destiny to return on July 31. Despite the suspension, Destiny remained defiant, declaring, “I’m never apologizing for the way I treat conservash*ts in this country.”

During an appearance on Piers Morgan, Destiny refused to condemn the attack, saying, “No, I won’t. Absolutely not.” This stance led to further backlash on social media. Elon Musk, owner of X, called Destiny's statements “not appropriate content for advertisers,” resulting in the demonetization of his account.
