Dar wants work at Data’s shrine expedited

The 981st annual ‘ghusl’ of the shrine of Data Ganj Bakhsh was performed on Tuesday.

The shrine was shrine was washed with rosewater and wreaths were laid during a ceremony.

The participants prayed for peace, stability and prosperity of the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Punjab Ministers Khawaja Salman Rafique, Bilal Yaseen and others were also present.

The deputy prime minister was briefed that work was ongoing on traffic control in surroundings of the shrine and a project related to extension of the premises.
