Former Rolls-Royce head designer Ian Cameron killed at his mansion
Ian Cameron, a retired head designer from Rolls-Royce, was tragically found stabbed to death outside his £3 million mansion in Bavaria, Germany.
Reports indicate that the 74-year-old British national was attacked by an assailant on Friday evening at his residence in Herrsching, near Lake Ammersee.
Police are actively searching for the suspect, who fled the scene on foot, launching a manhunt to locate him.
According to The Sun, CCTV footage showed that the power cables to the garages, where valuable items were stored, had been deliberately cut.
Investigators have been meticulously searching Mr. Cameron's home for any potential evidence related to the crime.
Search teams, aided by dogs and a helicopter, are combing the area in their efforts to apprehend the killer.
Mr. Cameron, who lived with his wife Verena Kloos, was renowned as a vintage car expert and had a distinguished career at Rolls-Royce, contributing to the design of models like the 3 Series, Z8, Phantom, and Ghost.
The suspect is described as being between 180cm to 190cm tall, dressed in light trousers, a dark blue hoodie, yellow-green gloves, and carrying a red rucksack.
A police official informed The Sun that it is highly unusual for a burglar who takes measures to disable CCTV to then resort to stabbing and killing someone.
