Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman and celebrated singer Shreya Ghoshal stole the spotlight at the opulent wedding reception of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Held at Mumbai's Jio World Drive, the event marked the culmination of a four-day extravaganza, beginning with a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on Friday followed by a grand reception that spanned the weekend.

Rahman and Ghoshal enthralled the audience with their rendition of timeless classics, including "Tere Bina" and "Barso Re" from the Bollywood classic Guru.

Ghoshal's performance of "Barso Re," originally featuring Aishwarya Rai, was particularly captivating, with Rahman joining her on stage.

They also delighted fans with "Tere Bina," a romantic melody featuring Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, accompanied by Jonita Gandhi.

The duo revisited Rahman's iconic compositions from films like Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Dil Bechara, performing "Saans" and "Taare Ginn" respectively, alongside Mohit Chauhan. They also showcased the lively "Chaka Chak" from Atrangi Re, featuring Sara Ali Khan, highlighting Rahman's recent contributions to Bollywood music.

Ghoshal paid tribute to veteran singers associated with Rahman, including Chitra's "Kehna Hi Kya" from Bombay and Sadhana Sargam's "Chupke Se" from Saathiya, as Rahman accompanied her on the piano, evoking nostalgia for classic Indian cinema.

The star-studded affair was attended by a glittering array of celebrities, including the Kardashians, Chopra-Jonases, former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, Adele, Lana Del Rey, Drake, David Beckham, and more, according to the Associated Press.
