In a tragic incident in Rawalpindi, a father killed his two daughters, Anusha and Laraib, aged 10 and 4, and severely injured his wife.

The suspect, identified as Usman, attacked his wife with a knife, cutting her jugular vein.

Rescue workers provided immediate first aid and transferred the injured woman to the hospital. The Rescue 1122 spokesperson stated that the bodies of the children will be moved to the hospital after legal formalities are completed.

According to police, doctors are currently battling to save her life.

During the incident, a passerby was also injured, sustaining a neck wound. Rescue personnel provided first aid and transferred him to the hospital as well.

Usman, the suspect, is a government employee working as a technician. Initial investigations indicate that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between Usman and his wife. The murderer also attempted to harm himself by cutting his veins.

The Rawalpindi police spokesperson confirmed that Usman has been arrested, and evidence is being collected from the scene. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation from all angles.
