Fire breaks out in Karachi University's Mass Communication Department
Sources indicate that fire was caused by a short circuit, situation is now under control
A fire broke out on Monday in the Mass Communication Department of Karachi University, a prominent institution that has produced many journalists across Pakistan.
Two fire tenders are currently engaged in rescue operations, attempting to extinguish the flames. According to sources, the fire started around 10am in the department's audio-visual room.
The sources have indicated that the fire, which is not considered severe, was caused by a short circuit and the situation is now under control.
