Bad Newz to feature remake of 'Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam'

Recreated version is adopted from Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Sonali Bendre's film 'Duplicate'

Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri's upcoming comedy film "Bad Newz" will feature a revamped version of the iconic song "Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam," originally from Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla's hit movie "Duplicate."

According to Indian media, the producers of this movie have released the film's third song, a fresh take on the classic song that earlier featured Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Sonali Bendre. In the new version, Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, and Amy Virk bring the song to life with their performances.

Originally written by Javed Akhtar and sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, the classic track has been given a modern twist with vocals by Lijo George and DJ Chetas.

The producers are optimistic that this new version will achieve the same popularity as the film's other songs, "Tauba Tauba" and "Jaanam."

The film, presented by Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective, is set to hit theaters on July 19.
