Travis Kelce, despite making a poor golf swing, was reassured by a fan that he's still Taylor Swift's boyfriend during the 2024 American Century Championship.

The NFL star is taking part in the charity tournament held at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Nevada, spanning from Friday, July 12, through Sunday, July 14.

A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) captured the 34-year-old athlete swinging a golf club and exclaiming, "Oh no!" after his shot went awry.

Then, a fan yelled, “It’s alright, you still got Taylor!” The Kansas City Chiefs tight end pointed to the crowd and replied, “You ain’t lying there.”

The audience chuckled as he passed his golf club to a caddie, waving to them before moving on to the next hole on the course.

The 34-year-old, who has won 14 Grammy awards, had her music in mind as Travis Kelce began his first and second rounds of teeing off.

At one moment, Kelce nodded along and sang to a version of Swift's song "Lavender Haze" from her 2022 album "Midnights," captured in a social media video by NBC Sports Bay Area & CA.

Additional tracks that accompanied the footballer as he readied to swing his golf club included “Fortnight” from Swift's 2024 album "The Torture Poet’s Department" and “Love Story” from her 2008 album "Fearless."
