Body of woman found in graveyard identified

Police have identified the body of a woman found near a graveyard in Sohrab Goth on Saturday.

The relatives of the deceased confirmed her name as Farzana Ata Muhammad. They said she was a widow and the mother of a boy.

“Farzana left home five days ago and had been missing since then,” they said. The police suspicious of the fact ‘why her family did not file a missing report for five days’ are interrogating the family members of the deceased. Meanwhile, another body of a man was found floating in the river near Ghaggar Gate on Saturday. The police shifted it to a nearby hospital.

The police found nothing on the body to confirm its identity.
