Drug peddler's mom sets dog on cops during raid

Two policemen were mauled by a pet dog during a raid on the residence of a suspected drug peddler in Pathan Colony on Friday. According to Farooq Sanjrani, SHO Site A police station, the raid was conducted on the home of drug trafficker “PK.”

While entering the residence, the police raiding party faced resistance from the suspect’s mother, who unleashed her dog on them.

The canine viciously attacked two officers, identified as Waseem and Mujahid, causing severe injuries to their hands and feet.

Other policemen in the raiding party opened fire on the dog, killing it on the spot. The injured policemen were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

In the end, police managed to arrest Farman, an associate of the drug dealer, and seized half a kilogram of hashish. However, “PK” managed to flee the scene, abandoning another kilogram of hashish in the process.

Excise dept nets peddlers

The Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department arrested two alleged drug dealers and recovered four kilograms of ice from them in Landhi identified as Abdul Rehman and Naseer Gul.
