RCB imposes tax on public transport

RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has imposed a transit tax on all public transport passing through cantonment limits and has implemented a regular schedule rate.
The tax will be collected through a private contract. Daily rates will be Rs200 for passenger buses, Rs150 for minibuses, Rs100 for Suzuki vehicles, and Rs30 for taxis and rickshaws.
