Snooker: Hendry may drop out of top 16

Hendry hit back to restore parity after falling a frame behind.

SHANGHAI:
Stephen Hendry’s top-16 ranking is in jeopardy after the seven-time world champion crashed out of the Shanghai Masters at the hands of Robert Milkins. Hendry hit back to restore parity after falling a frame behind, but was helpless thereafter as his opponent strode away to a 5-1 victory. Meanwhile, Michael Holt was too good for Graeme Dott, winning 5-2. Holt will face Neil Robertson next after the Australian eased to a 5-1 victory over Liang Wenbo. Lastly, Ding Junhui was sent crashing out after suffering a humiliating 5-3 defeat at the hands of Martin Gould.
