Watch Katy Perry guzzle a bottle of Whisky for Women in her Woman’s World music video
Katy Perry has introduced her newest studio album "143" with the release of "Woman's World."
Additionally, she gets flattened by a massive anvil and refuels by inserting a gas nozzle into her butt. Trisha Paytas also makes an appearance, pulling a large monster truck with a rope before driving it with Perry riding shotgun.
“It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it,” Perry sings on the track. She previewed the video earlier this week with a trailer showing her breaking numerous safety codes to work on a construction site, dressed as a provocative Rosie the Riveter.
As the lead single from the upcoming album "143," set to be released on September 20, “Woman’s World” provides the first look into Perry’s first album in four years. “I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” she stated about the album.
Rolling Stone reported last month that Perry brought back her former Teenage Dream collaborators Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Stargate for her new album, along with a few other producers she hasn’t previously worked with as closely.
“Katy knew exactly the album she wanted to make and put together the team to make it happen,” a Capitol Records insider told Rolling Stone. “And that includes previous collaborators including Luke, Stargate, Max Martin, and Sarah Hudson, and some new heavy hitters such as Vaughn Oliver, Rocco Valdes, and Theron Thomas.”
