Allegedly, Playboi Carti's fans prompted a store selling Rick Owens' Ramones boot shoe to revise its try-on policies.

X user @Kurrco posted a photo showing a store notice stating that only individuals aged 21 and older, or accompanied by a parent, are permitted to try on the shoes.

HotNewHipHop reported that the store implemented an age restriction following claims that several Playboi Carti fans attempted to try on the footwear without buying it. Images circulating online show a note stating: “You must be 21+ or have a parent present to try on Rick Owens Ramones.”

The rapper is widely recognized for his fondness for the boots and frequently sports Rick Owens' Ramones, which fans appear eager to acquire. Online users responded amusingly to the viral pictures of the store's note about the shoes. They humorously commented on @Kurrco's post about the incident.

“Playboi carti fans arent 21+???” one fan questioned.

“Typical carti fan energy. Glorified chucks,” another X user commented.

Some fans questioned whether these restrictions would deter people from trying on the shoes, while others debated the necessity of implementing such a rule.

“This not stopping s***,” a user asserted.

The Rick Owens Ramones boots come in various colors, but the classic pair is black and white.
