The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy skies and strong winds in Karachi over the next 24 hours. The PMD also indicated that residents of the port city could expect light rain or drizzle in the evening or at night.

The Met Office stated that the maximum temperature in Karachi today (Thursday) is predicted to range between 34°C and 36°C, with humidity levels reaching 79%. The minimum temperature recorded in the last 24 hours was 30.5°C.

Sea breezes have returned to Karachi, blowing at a gentle pace, providing some relief from the recent heat. For weeks, Karachiites have been eagerly anticipating the start of monsoon rains, hoping for relief from the oppressive heat spell.

While heavy showers earlier this week led to a slight drop in temperatures, the city has not yet experienced significant relief from the heat. However, there is still hope for the residents as the PMD has predicted heavy rains in Karachi after July 20.
