Judge Qudratullah among five promoted
Five promoted from civil judges to additional district and sessions judges
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court has promoted five senior civil judges including Qudratullah, who had sentenced PTI founding chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to seven years in jail and imposed a fine of Rs500,000 on them each in the Iddat case.
The five of them were promoted from civil judges to the additional district and sessions judges.
Apart from Judge Qudratullah, the other ones who have been promoted include Aamir Aziz, Nasar Minallah, Muhammad Shabbir, and Mujahid Rahim.
The promotions were formally confirmed through a notification.
