Municipal corporation budget approved

The Sargodha Municipal Corporation’s budget proposals for the year 2024-25 were approved by Commissioner Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti in a meeting.

The total estimated outlay of the budget is Rs2.2 billion. In the budget, Rs915 million were earmarked for salaries, Rs335 million for pensions and Rs24.5 million for the government payments.

In the meeting, Rs40 million was allocated for new development programme, Rs61.2 million for ongoing works, Rs75 million for solid waste management grant and Rs23 million for a scheme of street-lights installation.
