Florida man faces charges after shooting at McDonald's co-worker
A Florida man is facing serious charges after a workplace dispute at a McDonald's turned violent.
According to the Lake City Police Department, 24-year-old Jaden Davis is accused of shooting at a co-worker following a verbal argument.
The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday at a local McDonald's in Lake City, Florida. Officers received a report of a disturbance and learned that an armed employee, identified as Davis, had shot at another worker. Upon arrival, officers found Davis on a nearby street. He attempted to flee but was apprehended without injury to himself or officers. A firearm was found in his waistband.
The investigation revealed that the altercation began inside the McDonald's and continued outside. As the victim tried to leave, Davis allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired shots. Davis was booked into the Columbia County Jail on multiple charges, including attempted homicide, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and resisting arrest.
