Alex Cooper stuns Seth Meyers with Jennifer Coolidge impression on Late Night

She also discusses her new series Watch with Alex Cooper an interactive experience for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper left Seth Meyers in awe with her impressive Jennifer Coolidge impression during her appearance on Late Night on Monday night. 

The 29-year-old podcast star discussed a variety of topics, including sports, her hit podcast Call Her Daddy, and interviewing A-list celebrities.

Alex also talked about her new Peacock series, Watch with Alex Cooper, which promises to be an interactive experience during the 2024 Paris Olympics. 

While sharing a story about her husband, Matt Kaplan, she asked Seth, 50, if she could showcase her Jennifer Coolidge impression.

"The thing I will say is, I understand, for sports, it's a little intimidating. If you never played a sport in your life, you're a little nervous to turn on the TV and be like 'I don't understand what's going on.' Whenever I think of my husband, he'll be in the kitchen watching basketball. I don't understand basketball at all. Can I pull out my Jennifer Coolidge impression right now?"

Seth eagerly approved, admitting, "I have no idea where this is going." Alex then performed her impression, delivering the iconic line from Legally Blonde 2, "I want a hot dog real bad," and mimicking Jennifer's voice while asking Matt about basketball. 

Seth attempted his own impression but quickly conceded, "Nope. Yours is better! It was sexier than I thought it would be to have Jennifer Coolidge ask for a hot dog."

Alex responded with excitement, "I'm honored. You guys, like, middle school me is peaking right now that I got to do that on TV. That's the only reason I'm here."

Earlier in the show, Alex revealed how "off-balanced" she felt being interviewed instead of doing the interviewing. 

She shared that she usually sits on the right side during her interviews, adding humorously, "Absolutely," when Seth asked if it was because it was her better side.

She also recounted a past interview with Megan Fox, where Megan had one request: "I will come on, just one request. I have to sit in your seat." 

Alex happily obliged, saying, "Absolutely sweetie. Come!"
