Kourtney Kardashian Barker opens up about postpartum pressures
Kourtney Kardashian Barker reflects on the pressure she experienced to quickly recover her pre-pregnancy body after giving birth to her first child.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old Lemme co-founder attends a fitting for the Emmys, where she will be accompanied by her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 48. Kardashian Barker discusses her anxieties about returning to normal life after the birth of her son, Rocky Thirteen, with her mother Kris Jenner, 68.
"For the past two months. I've loved being at home with the baby and I don't want to leave. I'm starting to get a bit of anxiety about going back into the world," the mom of four says in a confessional.
In the scene, Kardashian Barker informs her mother that she still needs to lose 10 pounds, "if I care to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight."
"I care to get back, but I'm breastfeeding. So I'm taking my time and they say to keep your vagina intact. You should not jump or run for like, six months," she adds.
"That makes sense. You should do Pilates," Jenner tells her daughter.
"I'm doing Pilates tomorrow. I've just been walking," Kardashian Barker mentions to her mom that her family intends to travel to Australia for a month to join Barker on his band's tour.
In a confessional, Kardashian Barker confesses that she is not prioritizing returning to her pre-pregnancy size.
