Suki Kinari transmission line completed

HiPot testing of the transmission line has been successfully completed and the results were found satisfactory.

ISLAMABAD:

The NTDC has completed the construction of 75-kilometre long 500 kV double-circuit Suki Kinari transmission line.

This transmission line will add 884 MW of hydropower from the Suki Kinari project, located on Kunhar River in Mansehra district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, to the national grid, according to a statement issued by the NTDC.

The HiPot testing of the transmission line has been successfully completed and the results were found satisfactory.

The NTDC said despite the harsh weather conditions and tough mountainous terrain, all the construction activities were completed in time.
