Eminem has unveiled the cover art for his upcoming album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), set to release on July 12. The artwork, shared on social media, depicts a wide-eyed Eminem being zipped into a body bag, suggesting a symbolic end to his Slim Shady persona. The cover features a younger-looking Slim Shady with his iconic blond-bleached hair, reminiscent of the style from The Slim Shady LP.

Eminem announced the release with the caption, "THE DEATH OF SLIM SHADY (COUP DE GRÂCE)…Friday," highlighting the album's vibrant and colorful design. Fans have eagerly responded, with one user declaring, "THIS WILL BE A CLASSIC," while others expressed anticipation for a tracklist reveal. Another fan commented, "Not enough body bags for the whole industry when that album drops!"

The album follows the release of two singles, "Houdini" and "Tobey." "Houdini" marked Eminem's highest-charting Billboard Hot 100 entry of the decade, debuting at No. 2. "Tobey," featuring Detroit rappers BabyTron and Big Sean, was accompanied by a bloody visual directed by Cole Bennett. The track initially began with BabyTron before Big Sean and Eminem joined, ultimately turning it into a single leading up to the album.

The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) will be Eminem's 12th studio album and is expected to generate significant excitement among fans.
