Prince William is reportedly stepping into the formidable role once held by his late grandfather, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away in 2021.

The Royal Family has felt the absence of Prince Philip, a pivotal figure known for steering the monarchy with a firm hand. According to sources, William is now adopting a similar approach, particularly in his interactions with his brother, Prince Harry.

A source told the Daily Beast that William has assumed the role of the family's disciplinarian, stating, "There is a sense that William has stepped into the Prince Philip role." The Mirror reports that William is now "calling the shots" regarding family discipline, mirroring Prince Philip's firm approach to maintain order within the Royal ranks.

The insider added, "Philip ruled the family with a rod of iron, and you saw when he died that discipline collapsed. Now William is calling the shots when it comes to family discipline." This shift in roles comes as the Royal Family navigates challenging times, with William's leadership seen as crucial in maintaining stability and unity within the family.
