Cara Delevingne, aged 31, revealed she didn't recognize Bruce Springsteen when they first met.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, the model explained that she and her girlfriend, Leah Mason, were backstage at the Glastonbury Music Festival in June 2022 when they casually took a photo with him, as reported by People magazine.

Afterward, Delevingne, who refers to Mason by her stage name Minke, asked, "Who was that?"

It turned out that the "guy" they had taken a photo with was Bruce Springsteen, the 74-year-old musician known for "Born to Run," who had made a surprise appearance during Paul McCartney's headline set at the festival that year.

“She was like, ‘What? That was Bruce Springsteen!'” the actress recalled her partner’s reaction. “I had no idea what he looked like. She thinks that’s blasphemy.”

Delevingne pointed out that she and Mason have contrasting music preferences.

“Leah likes old rock, Fleetwood Mac, whereas I like R&B and old-school hip-hop, like the Notorious B.I.G.,” the “Suicide Squad” star said. “And I love the wave of lesbians in music now, like Chappell Roan and Reneé Rapp.”

Despite their divergent musical tastes, the couple still finds pleasure in attending concerts together and have plans to see Girls Aloud, Taylor Swift, Troye Sivan, Robbie Williams, and Stevie Nicks performances soon.

Delevingne disclosed in a March 2023 interview with Vogue that she and Mason initially met as children at an English boarding school but lost touch. They reconnected twelve years later at an Alanis Morissette concert.
