Prince William is set to reveal a different aspect of himself in an upcoming documentary titled "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness."

The two-part series, scheduled to air on ITV and ITVX this autumn, aims to shed light on homelessness in the UK through the lens of the Homewards programme.

The Homewards initiative, launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in June 2023, seeks to transform homelessness into a rare, short-term, and non-recurring event. The documentary will focus on the first year of this five-year initiative, highlighting efforts in six key locations: Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, Lambeth, Newport, Northern Ireland, and Sheffield.

Directed by BAFTA award-winner Leo Burley, known for "The Real Mo Farah," the series promises to deliver compelling narratives from those affected by homelessness. Burley remarked, "We have heard incredibly moving stories from people across the country facing homelessness."

According to the Mirror, Prince William's involvement in the cause is deeply personal, influenced by his mother, Princess Diana, who introduced him to life beyond the Royal bubble through visits to homeless shelters. Reflecting on his commitment, Prince William stated, "Tackling homelessness is a priority for me, and I believe the Homewards programme can drive lasting change."

The documentary is anticipated to premiere between September and November, bringing much-needed attention to the UK's homelessness crisis.
