Wildfire erupts at ODESZA Concert at The Gorge Amphitheatre

A small brush fire broke out at The Gorge Amphitheatre on Saturday during the ODESZA concert. The fire was caused by pyrotechnics used during the show and broke out near the stage.

Firefighters were quickly on the scene and extinguished the flames. No one was hurt, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

The fire occurred during the last song of the show, cutting off fans' chance for an encore. The region had "very high" fire danger, according to a map from the state Department of Natural Resources.

The fire ignited brush in an unoccupied area adjacent to the concert venue. Sheriff's officials say the fire was only a quarter acre in size. No structures were burned by the fire. The blaze did cause the concert to end abruptly.

Fortunately, the quick response from firefighters ensured that the blaze was swiftly contained and extinguished, preventing it from spreading and causing further damage.
