Taylor Swift serenades Travis Kelce with "Mary's Song" at Amsterdam Eras Tour stop
Taylor Swift delighted a sold-out crowd at her Amsterdam Eras Tour stop on Saturday, July 6, by performing a mashup of "Mary's Song," "So High School," and "Everything Has Changed." The highlight was her rendition of "Mary's Song," which she hadn't performed live since 2008. The performance took on new meaning as Swift sang the closing lyrics with a knowing smile, referencing her rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce's jersey number (87) and her birth year (1989): "I'll be 87, you'll be 89 / I'll still look at you like the stars that shine / In the sky, oh my my my."
Kelce, who has become a regular at Swift's tour, was present for this special moment, along with his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany Mahomes. Swift even altered the lyrics of "Karma" to mention "the guy on the Chiefs" in their honor.
This performance marks Swift's first time touring in the Netherlands since 2015, skipping the country on her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour. The Amsterdam shows follow a series of European dates, including Dublin, where Kelce and actress Julia Roberts were spotted enjoying the concert from the VIP tent.
Swift's next stop is Zürich, Switzerland, for two shows, followed by the final leg of her European tour with five dates in London.
