Philippines woos Pakistani investors

Philippines Ambassador Maria Agnes M Cervantes has invited Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) businessmen to visit the Philippines and make investment in different sectors as there are bright prospects of further improving bilateral trade and economic relations.

Speaking during her visit along with a delegation to the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday, the ambassador stressed that Pakistan and the Philippines had enjoyed cordial trade, cultural and diplomatic relationship and both needed to fully exploit each other’s potential as well as take benefit of each other’s experiences to further enhance collaboration in scores of sectors.

At the meeting, Sarhad Chamber Senior Vice President Sanaullah Khan underlined the need for further cementing trade and economic ties between Pakistan and the Philippines.
