From iconic singers like Beyoncé and John Legend to popular bands such as Coldplay and Maroon 5, these stars have delivered electrifying performances at the weddings and pre-wedding festivities of Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal and Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta. Continuing their tradition of opulent celebrations, the Ambani family's latest pre-wedding bash for their youngest son - Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant showcased a memorable performance by the Backstreet Boys on a lavish European cruise and a performance by Justin Bieber this weekend in Mumbai.

1. Beyonce

Isha Ambani's wedding was an extravagant affair, with costs reportedly reaching $100 million, according to Bloomberg. The pre-wedding celebrations were highlighted by a spectacular performance from Beyoncé, who delivered a visual and musical extravaganza. Her appearance reportedly cost $4 million, adding to the already lavish event. 

2. Coldplay

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's pre-wedding celebration in St. Moritz, Switzerland, featured a winter wonderland theme and an enchanting performance by the band's frontman, Chris Martin. Martin delighted the audience with hits like Sky Full of Stars and Clocks, and teamed up with The Chainsmokers for Something Just Like This. While his exact fee is undisclosed, it is estimated to be around 8 crores INR.

In addition to performing with collaborators Coldplay, the Electronic/pop duo treated guests to a private concert during Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's three-day pre-wedding carnival. 

4. Maroon 5

In 2019, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's Mangal Parv ceremony in Mumbai featured a performance by Maroon 5, led by Adam Levine. The band reportedly charged between $1 million and $1.5 million for their performance. A standout moment of the evening was when Akash brought Shloka on stage as Levine serenaded them with Maroon 5's hits, including their then-new song Girls Like You.

5. John Legend

The middle child and only daughter of the Ambani family, Isha Ambani, had a spectacular engagement ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, where John Legend serenaded the couple with hits like All of Me. Reports suggest that Legend charged between $1 million and $1.5 million for his performance at the 2018 event.

6. Rihanna 

Earlier in March, the first pre-wedding celebration for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat, featured a stunning performance by pop sensation Rihanna. This marked her first-ever performance in India, captivating the audience and causing a buzz online. According to reports, Rihanna was paid a staggering amount between $8 to $9 million for her appearance. Her setlist included crowd favourites like We Found Love, Stay, Rude Boy and All Of The Lights.

7. Katy Perry 

The Teenage Dream singer performed at Anant and Radhika's pre-wedding luxury cruise in Italy. According to reports by the Indian media, Perry made approximately $5 million dollars for her performance. The singer set the night ablaze by performing her greatest pop hits including Firework which the crowd went crazy for.

8. Backstreet Boys

For the second pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the iconic American boy band Backstreet Boys set the stage on fire. Members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, and Kevin Richardson performed for guests aboard a cruise ship sailing across Europe. A viral video showed the band in all-white outfits, delivering an energetic and nostalgic performance in Italy. Although the exact fee for their performance remains undisclosed, sources estimate it was between 4 to 7 crores INR.

9. Justin Bieber

The most recent addition to the list of international stars that have graced Ambani weddings is none other than Justin Bieber! The star performed at Anant and Radhika’s Sangeet Night in Mumbai and was reportedly paid $10 million dollars for his 30 minute performance. 

The wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to take place between the 12th and 14th of July. 

Although there have been no confirmed reports of musical guests, there are certainly rumours floating around with big names like Drake, Lana Del Rey and Adele.
