Emma Roberts seeks 'perfect project' to co-Star with aunt Julia Roberts
Emma Roberts frequently receives project pitches for her and her aunt, Julia Roberts, to co-star in and hopes to say yes to one eventually.
"I would love to find the perfect project for me and my aunt, and I know that there will be something," Roberts told Variety.
"But it's never been the right thing. She's the best, and I want to do something with her."
Emma admires her aunt's work, often watching Julia's movies for comfort.
"I have movies of hers downloaded on my computer that I watch for comfort. My Best Friend’s Wedding and America's Sweethearts are my safe movies," she shared.
Emma has an IMDb entry for America's Sweethearts, where she played a minor role.
Both Roberts women were part of the ensemble cast of Valentine's Day (2010) but had different storylines.
Emma mentioned the impact of seeing fame up close during her childhood, stating, "Fame has never been the goal because fame at a certain level is kind of scary."
Emma's latest project is the Prime Video film Space Cadet, released on July 1, where she plays a Florida party girl who lies her way into NASA’s astronaut training program.
