Olivia Culpo is standing up for her beauty choices at her wedding to Christian McCaffrey.

The former Miss Universe, who tied the knot earlier this month, has become a topic of social media discussion.

TikTok user Jessica Weslie Arena criticized a line from Vogue's coverage of the wedding, which stated, "Culpo tells Vogue she wore little makeup, forgoing mascara and eyebrow gel in favor of a pared-back look."

Arena questioned the authenticity of this claim, pointing out that Culpo has previously undergone a lash lift.

"Olivia Culpo has a lash lift. Like, please zoom in. The lashes are lifting, so obviously she's not going to be wearing any mascara!" Arena said, adding that Vogue's comment gave her "such weird vibes."

In another video, Arena called the statement "deceiving," claiming it suggested Culpo's look was due to "natural beauty," which she believes "sends a bad message to young girls."

Culpo responded to the first video, commenting, "It was an interview….. they asked me what my makeup was……………………….."

Culpo's wedding dress also sparked debate.

Social media influencer Kennedy Bingham criticized the Dolce & Gabbana gown, calling it "conservative" and lacking "personality."

McCaffrey defended his wife, writing, "What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does."

Culpo added, "Wow what an absolutely evil person you are. I hope no one ever tears you apart in this way because it's extremely hurtful. I love this dress and it was everything I ever wanted and more."

Arena also commented on the couple's use of the word "evil" against Bingham, noting that it's "warranted" for people to have opinions on publicized events.

Culpo explained her choice of gown to Vogue, saying, "It's a covenant. It's the beginning of the rest of your life—and it's the union and bond of two people forever. I wanted something that felt as serious as that commitment."

McCaffrey echoed this sentiment, stating he loved the timeless and elegant look.
