Court summons witnesses in PTI riot case

Judicial Magistrate Sharqi ordered the investigating officer to present witnesses in the upcoming hearing on denial of accused from crime in the riot case against PTI leaders.

A riot case against PTI leaders was heard in front of the court of Judicial Magistrate East in Karachi City Court.

PTI Karachi President Raja Azhar, Faheem Khan, Shahnawaz Jadoon and other leaders appeared in the court where the accused were indicted. In the courtroom, they denied the crime.

On the accused’s denial of the crime, the court ordered witnesses and evidences to be presented at the next hearing.

The court adjourned hearing till July 22.

A case was registered against the accused in New Town Police Station.
