Donald Trump extended his congratulations to long-time ally Nigel Farage this morning, acknowledging Farage's success in the Reform UK election.

Using his Truth Social platform, Trump praised Farage: “Congratulations to Nigel Farage on his big WIN of a Parliament Seat Amid Reform UK Election Success,” adding, “Nigel is a man who truly loves his Country! DJT.”

Farage, who leads Reform UK, had initially planned to support the Republican nominee’s campaign in the U.S. but shifted his focus to run for parliament. In a notable win, he secured the seaside seat of Clacton, marking his first parliamentary victory at the eighth attempt.

This success was part of a larger achievement for Reform UK, which saw four new MPs elected, significantly cutting into the Conservative vote share. Farage proclaimed that Reform UK would “build a mass national movement over the course of the next few years,” and projected the party would secure strong second-place finishes in numerous constituencies, aiming to fill what he described as a "massive gap" on the right of British politics.

This news follows footage of Trump in a golf cart delivering a profane critique of Joe Biden and a harsh comment on VP Kamala Harris. Trump, seen in his golf attire, boasted about his debate performance, stating, "How did I do with the debate the other night? I kicked that old, broken-down pile of c**p. He's quitting the race" – a claim firmly denied by Democrats.
