Amir Khan mistakenly leaves daughter in Range Rover during valet service
Amir Khan made a potentially dangerous error by leaving his young daughter in his expensive Range Rover while sending it for a valet.
The 37-year-old former boxing world champion and Olympic silver medalist made this significant mistake in Dubai, leaving his six-year-old daughter, Alyana, in the back seat of the luxurious £120,000 vehicle.
Khan initially recorded the moment as he waited for his car—and daughter—to be returned. In the clip, he can be heard saying, "Sent the car for a valet, guess what? I left my daughter in the car boss."
He then asked the driver, "Can you open the door?" At that moment, his young daughter appeared furious, holding her pink mobile phone on her lap. As the now-deleted clip continued, the former boxer was seen walking away holding his daughter's hand while the valet driver continued to apologize for the mistake.
Although Khan deleted the video from his main profile, he shared another version on his Stories, captioning it with "Oops," and an emoji of a man with his hand covering his face. The video was reuploaded by a user who joked, "Amir Khan is 1 of 1."
Users in the comments weren't impressed with his actions. One fumed: "No child seat, no seatbelt on and he forgot about her? That’s hilarious," while another said: "Her face was like this ain’t my first rodeo."
The incident occurred as the Khan family splits their time between the UK and Dubai. Khan recently shared his views on his parenting skills on a BBC podcast titled “How to Be a Man,” stating last year, "I think I’m a better dad than their mum. I’m going to get beaten up for this."
