People Bus Service comes to Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH:

Sindh Minister for Health Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, inaugurated the Peoples Bus Service in Shaheed Benazirabad [Nawabshah] on Thursday, hailing it as a gift from Aseefa Bhutto Zardari.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr Azra expressed delight at the significant male attendance but voiced disappointment over the absence of women at the event.

She emphasised the pivotal role women play in the country’s GDP and urged organisers to ensure their participation in future events.

While praising Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon for his contributions, Dr Azra pledged further efforts to expand bus services across all talukas in the district.

She responded positively to a suggestion for concessions for senior citizens and disabled individuals, promising to discuss the matter with the minister.

Highlighting future health projects, She announced plans for an ICU ward at a new hospital site, generously provided by Zafar Ali.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Shahryar Gul Memon, Chief Municipal Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sheikh, Engineer Yaseen Bhungwar, and many others.
