Hunter Schafer wants to collaborate with Emma D'Arcy on a vampire film
Hunter Schafer, star of HBO's "Euphoria," has expressed interest in working with Emma D'Arcy on a vampire movie. "That would be so cool. I think we could play siblings," Schafer told in an interview with Evening Standard. The actress, known for her captivating presence, is set to debut as a lead in Tilman Singer’s horror film "Cuckoo." Schafer admitted to feeling nervous about the new role, saying, "I was nervous coming into it because I’d never been a lead before."
Beyond her acting career, Schafer is the face of Mugler's latest fragrance, Angel Fantasm. She described the Mugler woman as representing an "unrestrained, powerful, high femininity." Schafer is also known for her advocacy work, particularly in trans rights. "It’s really important to me and it’s part of why I continue to follow this path, career-wise," she said.
Schafer's upcoming projects include "Kinds of Kindness" with Emma Stone and "Blade Runner 2099" with Michelle Yeoh. She will also return for season three of "Euphoria." Reflecting on her career, Schafer shared, "Everything I’ve tried has been a learning experience and influenced who I’ve become today, who ultimately I’m pretty proud of."
Schafer also expressed her aspiration to direct a film in the future. "That’s something that I want to work towards, it’s a position you have to earn. I want to become somebody someday who is capable of doing something that powerful," she said.
