Mariah The Scientist has officially pleaded not guilty in response to allegations stemming from a widely discussed incident at an Atlanta club earlier this year.

The altercation, which reportedly involved Mariah and Cleopatra Dues, shocked social media users when footage surfaced showing a physical confrontation.

According to reports, Dues claimed that Mariah approached her, forcibly removed her wig, and dragged her across the floor of Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge, marking their first interaction.

In May, the recording artist was arrested and charged with simple battery.

Recent court documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop reveal that her attorney, Brian Steel, is pushing for a jury trial to thoroughly address the charges.

Mariah has remained silent on the matter but is expected to make a statement in court soon.

Adding to the turbulence, Mariah's personal life is also under strain as her boyfriend, rapper Young Thug, faces his own legal battles.

Currently incarcerated on RICO charges, his trial has faced delays.

Recently, the defense requested Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville to step down following a controversial ex parte meeting with prosecutors and witness Kenneth Copeland.

The case is on hold until a new judge reviews the situation, with Glanville planning to release a transcript of the meeting to ensure transparency.

This development in Young Thug’s trial, which is already the longest in state history, adds another layer of complexity to an already tense situation.
