Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce recently recounted his exhilarating experience of joining Taylor Swift onstage during her Eras Tour in London.

Speaking on his 'New Heights' podcast alongside brother Jason Kelce, the NFL player detailed the nervousness he felt about one particular aspect of his cameo appearance.

Kelce, 34, disclosed that he adhered strictly to one rule while escorting Swift onstage: "The one thing I told myself is, do not drop the baby.

Do not drop Taylor on your way over this damn couch. The golden rule was do not drop Taylor, get her to the couch safely," he emphasised.

During the podcast, Kelce discussed how the idea of his appearance came to fruition. "I initially mentioned it to Tay," he informed his brother. "I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era.'"

Initially amused by the proposal, Swift, 34, eventually considered it seriously, asking, "'Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’"

Kelce eagerly accepted the opportunity, expressing his enthusiasm: "I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I've seen the show enough — might as well put me to work here. And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in.”

Looking ahead, Kelce hinted at potentially appearing again with Swift onstage. "Shout out to Tay for letting me jump on stage with her. Who knows? Might not be the last time," he teased. "You guys will have to keep showing up to the Eras Tour to see if I pop out of the stage or whatnot."

He also playfully mentioned his approach to collaborations: “Yeah. I told her I was like, ‘Yeah, no. This is how it works. Once I get comfortable, I just stop listening to what everyone says, and I start doing my own thing.’”
