Joseph Quinn opens up about his career and influence
In a recent podcast interview, actor Joseph Quinn sat down with Josh Horowitz to discuss his journey in the entertainment industry. Quinn, best known for his role in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, shared stories about his early exposure to the business and his experiences in drama school.
Quinn revealed that his parents were both in the film industry, which led to him being exposed to the business from a young age. He also attended AMDA drama school, where he found his tribe and honed his craft.
The conversation turned to some of Quinn's personal experiences, including a chance encounter with Taylor Swift. When asked about the encounter, Quinn simply stated, "She's Taylor Swift." He also shared that he was too young to watch Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange the first time around.
Quinn also spoke about his time filming Stranger Things, where he learned a lot from his co-star Winona Ryder. When asked about his favorite actors to work with, Quinn named Paul Thomas Anderson, David Fincher, and Michael Mann as some of his top choices.
In a lighter moment, Quinn shared his thoughts on pineapple on pizza, stating that he is indifferent to the topping. Finally, he mentioned that Robin Williams is an actor who always makes him happy.
