During a meeting chaired by Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, it was decided to establish dedicated offices for the issuance of premium number plates.

Additionally, a motor registration office will be set up in Karachi's District South , which will also operate during evening hours to accommodate the public's needs.

Sharjeel Memon, who holds a number of portfolios in the Sindh government including transport and mass transit, excise, taxation, narcotics and control department, highlighted the success of the first phase of the premium number plate issuance, noting the positive response from the public.

Following this, he also announced the second phase of the premium number plate auction to commence soon.

To further facilitate the public, steps will be taken to simplify the registration process.
