Stormy Daniels has reported experiencing severe harassment and threats following her testimony in the New York hush money trial against former President Donald Trump.

In her first TV interview since Trump was found guilty, Daniels told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow about the significant backlash she faced despite the verdict.

Daniels revealed that she had to "shut down [her] life" and was "sequestered" by choice due to the intense reaction. The harassment intensified after the trial, with Daniels stating she was doxxed, leading to her personal information being maliciously published online. This invasion of privacy resulted in significant distress, including the destruction of her mailbox, injuries to her pets, and her daughter being unable to go outside due to press presence and onlookers.

"The death threats are so much more graphic and detailed and brazen," Daniels said, emphasising the fear and danger she continues to face.

Daniels, who is a registered Republican, clarified that she was subpoenaed to testify and was not seeking financial gain from the trial. She expressed frustration over the misconception that she initiated the lawsuit, stating, "I did nothing but answer the questions."

Daniels highlighted the emotional toll of the trial, particularly the discomfort of having to recount her experiences publicly, aware that her testimony would become part of the public record.
